The Villa
The residence stands proud for the last 150 years, passing from generation to generation in the hands of the same family. Mr Theofanis Andreadakis, current owner, in honoring his predecessors and the glorious history of his grandfather, invested a substantial amount of money and time in the house, not only for its preservation but also for its saliency, wanting to share with his guests, the authentic Cretan life of the previous centuries. The house measures 100sqm, it owns 2 contemporary bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms that boast a shower and a bathtub each, as well as a loft that sleeps 2 extra guests. The living room is inviting, it owns a fireplace, LCD t.v. and a W.C., while all the rooms are air-conditioned.
Mr Fanis has kept the basic features and objects of the past intact, such as utensils of everyday use, clothes and domestic appliances that accommodated their needs. The exterior space measures 100sqm and elevates the presence of the residence, owning a garden with grass lawn, parking space, a swimming pool, lounge furniture, a BBQ, a traditional water tank, a dining table, even a traditional carriage, hand painted. The house’s stone, the garden’s green and the sky’s blue, blend harmoniously, offering care-free moments in a homey environment.

Our history
Villa George was built in 1870 from George Kalamaridi, father of Ekaterini Kalamaridi, the grandmother of the current owner. When Ekaterini got married, her father devided the residence in two sections. From her marriage with Theofanis Andreadakis, the couple had three children. In 1940, on the first day of the Germans’ attack, the husband of Ekaterini Kalamaridi, Theofanis Andreadakis, the owner’s grandfather, was the first in Kampani who resisted and sacrificed his life. Outside the house there is a small memorial and every year we host a memorial service and we lay a wreath. It is the reason why the house owns so many heirlooms and artillery from that time since the family owns a strong patriotic and religious mindset.
